Role Purpose
We are seeking a highly capable and technically minded Technical Business Analyst to join our Sydney-based Project Delivery team. This is a pivotal role supporting one of Superloop’s largest wholesale customers. You will work closely with the customer and internal technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined, prioritised, and scoped for delivery. You will play a critical role in reducing ambiguity, improving requirement quality, and enabling efficient execution across engineering and operations teams. In addition to customer-facing responsibilities, you will support Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives for large-scale projects and contribute to building scalable requirement-gathering frameworks to increase throughput across the business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on complex challenges, enjoys working outside traditional role boundaries, and is comfortable stepping into different responsibilities to achieve outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the primary requirements liaison for a major wholesale customer, developing and promoting a positive and collaborative way of working.
• Engage with GTM business stakeholders to understand objectives, problems, constraints, and success measures.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to elicit requirements and clarify scope.
• Translate customer needs into structured, prioritised deliverables ready for estimation and delivery.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet documented requirements.
• Support project intake and prioritisation by ensuring sufficient upfront scoping and information quality.
• Contribute to Statements of Work (SoW), business cases, and delivery artefacts as required.
• Contribute to the development and adoption of standard BA templates, tools, and practices.
• Support delivery frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) as appropriate to the initiative.
• Ensure requirements are traceable from definition through to implementation and acceptance.
• Manage requirement backlogs and support prioritisation aligned to customer and business objectives.
• Provide value in high-severity incident reviews and support demand activities by delivering root cause analysis and preventative actions.
• Communicate frequently, honestly, and positively with all stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of structured requirement-gathering frameworks to support scale and consistency.
• Develop templates, documentation standards, and governance practices.
• Improve intake, scoping, and prioritisation processes to increase delivery throughput.
Qualifications and Experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst within telecommunications or technology environments.
• Strong experience working with wholesale or enterprise telecommunications customers.
• Demonstrated ability to gather, document, and manage complex business and technical requirements.
• Solid understanding of telecommunications systems, including provisioning, OSS/BSS, CRM, network operations, or service assurance platforms.
• Experience supporting large-scale delivery or transformation programs.
• Project management experience is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
