Role Purpose
Superloop’s Finance unit aims to create a more valuable Superloop in the eyes of our customers, employees, shareholders, and the communities in which we operate. The Finance unit owns and executes six core processes: data & analytics, financial control, treasury, billing & accounts receivable, accounts payable, and finance business partnering.
Our Finance Business Partners act as the financial extension of business units across Superloop, ensuring the business makes sound financial and commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare month-end close activities, including reconciliations, reporting packs, and supporting schedules for business segments.
Interpret and analyse business performance against forecasts and plans, and provide summarised reports to stakeholders across the business.
Prepare and coordinate documentation for external audits.
Support ongoing transition and alignment of financial processes across the broader organisation.
Assist with the delivery of the annual planning cycle, including liaising with key stakeholders and providing financial analysis.
Administer and collate financial reporting for key stakeholders, including the Group CFO and Executive teams.
Provide support and analysis for month-end, half-year, and full-year financial reporting.
Build and maintain financial models to support business forecasting and decision-making.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, process efficiency, and data integrity.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely information flow between the business unit and Finance.
Qualifications and Experience
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related discipline.
CA or CPA qualification desirable.
Advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge of NetSuite and/or Xero is desirable.
Strong data analysis skills.
Proven ability to build relationships and rapport with colleagues of varying levels of financial acumen.
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to see beyond the numbers.
Self-driven, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
An “ownership” mindset, making decisions in the best interests of the company as if you were the ultimate owner of the business.
Ability to translate financial expertise into practical outcomes that improve the internal and external customer experience.
