Role Purpose
The Sales Operations Analyst for Superloop plays a crucial role in assisting to optimise the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team. This position is responsible for working closely with the Sales Operation Manager in the operational aspects of the sales process, ensuring seamless coordination between sales, marketing, and other relevant departments. The primary goal is to enhance sales performance, streamline processes, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Process Optimisation:
- Assist the Sales Operations Manager to evaluate and refine the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist the Sales Operations Manager to Implement best practices to streamline lead generation, qualification, and conversion.
- Look to improve and/or automate processes in the sales cycle to promote additional growth and focus on revenue.
- Assist to Develop and maintain documentation of sales processes, policies, and procedures.
- Assist the Sales Operations Manager to keep the sales team well-informed and compliant with established guidelines.
Sales Forecasting, Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilise data analytics tools to generate insights and identify areas for improvement as directed by the Sales Operations Manager.
- Assist the Sales Operations Manager to develop and maintain reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team.
- Assist the Sales Operations Manager to monitor sales performance against forecasts.
CRM Management:
- Assist in overseeing the administration and optimization of Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Assist the Sales Operations Manager to manage Salesforce (or other CRM) dashboards and analytics, working with the Salesforce Administrative team to implement changes as needed.
- Assist the Sales Operations Manager to provide accurate and up-to-date customer and prospect information for the sales team.
Sales Training and Development:
- Work with the Sales Operation Manager to collaborate with the Go to Market team to develop and implement sales training programs where needed.
- Work with the Sales Operations Manager to provide ongoing support and coaching to the sales team and Sales Support team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, finance, and other departments to align strategies and initiatives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between sales and other relevant teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales operations or a similar role within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of telecommunications products, services, and market dynamics.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven track record of implementing successful sales process improvements.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
