Business Unit Overview
Business: Our Business unit is the conduit that assists in the delivery of business opportunities and customer engagement. The unit supports our Sales and Customer Connections teams that facilitate opportunities and quotes that convert into sales, and manage sales processes across the entire product portfolio, before being handed to our Delivery team for provisioning and deployment.
- Sales: The Sales team is the driver of all revenue opportunities and customer engagement. They position and promote the competitive edge of our products and services to create customer relationships, build robust sales pipelines who successfully close opportunities to deliver against sales targets and business priorities.
Role Purpose
As a leader at Exetel/Superloop, your role is to retain and grow the customer base by strengthening client relationships and delivering tailored solutions. You will enhance the Account Management program, ensuring value for different account types. Additionally, you will train and develop your team to improve customer service and sales skills, driving client satisfaction and revenue. By gathering feedback and analyzing sales data, you will make informed decisions to meet targets and identify growth opportunities. Your leadership will ensure consistent results while aligning with Superloop's strategic goals.
Key Accountabilities
- Motivate, manage and develop team members, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and increased tenure of staff.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of key competitors, industry trends and products.
- Ensure effective hiring, orientation, training, development and management through performance planning and sales planning.
- Assist Superloop Management in accurate quota and target setting.
- Lead, develop, design and implement the sales strategy for the Account Management Team.
- Meet and exceed set sales and revenue targets for new/add-on’s and re-contracting business.
- Meet and exceed customer retention targets.
- Ensure team member provides accurate and reliable sales forecasts.
- Manage client requests and escalations as required.
- Liaise internally with other teams to ensure optimal customer experience.
- Meet with the team on a regular basis to provide feedback, support and training.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proven sales experience of 7+ years
- Ability to set own goals and self-manage.
- An ability to understand and analyse sales performance metrics.
- Strong communication, team management and effective time management skills.
- Builds positive & strong internal relationships.
- Superior problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Exetel and Superloop products, services, processes, procedures and business functions.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and Office 365.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, positive, team and customer focused.
- Competent technical knowledge in voice, data and mobile.
- Excellent coaching skills; ability to observe, evaluate, and give meaningful feedback.

- Meet quarterly team sales targets for New Business.
- Meet quarterly team sales targets for Resigns.
- Minimise churn and meet any prescribed churn targets on a quarterly basis
